The SDC & IOM held the 6th Inter-Agency Committee Meeting, advancing the Migration & SDG Monitoring Platform (MSMP) set to launch in Nov 2025

The Sustainable Development Council (SDC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) convened the 6th Inter-Agency Committee (IAC) Meeting yesterday, marking a key milestone in the development of the Migration and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Monitoring Platform (MSMP).

The platform is designed to provide government agencies, international organizations, researchers, and policymakers with access to both quantitative and qualitative data across eight key modules: Migration Insights; Economic Contributions; Education and Skill Development; Health and Well-being; Gender and Vulnerability; Infrastructure and Financial Inclusion; Labor Rights and Fair Recruitment; and Monitoring and Policy Integration. It is expected to go live in November 2025.

IAC members had the opportunity to meet the software development company selected to bring the platform to life, review and provide feedback on the preliminary technical architecture, and share valuable insights to help shape the MSMP into a reliable, integrated, and data-driven solution.
