Director General of the Sustainable Development Council, Chamindry Saparamadu, delivered a lecture on SDGs and Sri Lanka’s 2030 Agenda at the National Defence College

On the invitation of the National Defence College, the Director General of Sustainable Development Council, Chamindry Saparamadu delivered a lecture on the ‘’Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Sri Lanka’ as part of the ‘’Economic Security: Regional and Global Compulsion Module’ in the National Security and Strategic Studies’ Course.

In her lecture, she touched on the current status of SDG Progress in Sri Lanka, national plans and flagship initiatives for SDGs and the drawbacks, challenges and way forward for achieving the SDGs in Sri Lanka.

The lecture was attended by 41 Senior Officers of Tri-Services including Sri Lanka Police including military officers from Bangladesh, India, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
